After you left I got to thinking about my suggestion for our next meeting place. After talking to Dan and Heinz we think we might be better off going back to Pawnee or at least in that direction due to the distance some of our western members have to travel. I'll throw this open for conversation and we'll see where it takes us.
Also, why don't we discuss the date for a week or so in case someone has a better idea than the first weekend of November which is Nov 4-6th.
Here it is all, put your two cents worth in. I think we need to put a two week limit on so we'll know what to do next since it will come up quick.

In an attempt to find something more central, does anyone know anything about Okmulgee/Dripping Springs State Park?

Hi All Oklahoma Boomers,
We had a great time down at Terra Star and my
sister Sharon said she also had a good time.
She had a bit of a problem with her trailer on
the way home. The side started flapping and
was starting to tear. A seam came loose and
guess it got wet with the rain. The insurance
adjuster is meeting with her tomorrow afternoon.
The Dripping Springs sounds good to us, if it
is ok with everyone else, when we leave there
we will just take the turnpike on down to Rusk.
Dripping Springs State Park
Betty says i'm easy so we'll go along with what ever

All, I just spoke with a park rep at Dripping Springs/Okmulgee state park. The park is open year round, they tell me that there are spots to handle the larger trailers, No resevations unless its a group thing, and, at that time of the year, none should be needed. Price is 16 for Elect/water. The only thing going on the 4-6th of Nov is a dog strut thing on the 5th.
So, its doable if it will work for everyone. Put your pennys worth in if you want.

We've never been to Dripping Springs/Okmulgee State Park but we've wanted to try it out. That weekend (Nov 4-6) works out great for us too.
If fuel costs will allow, we will be there.
