Thanks Lee and Linda for the info! I'll check it out and I'm sure there might be some takers on the invite! Looks like a neat place with LOTS to do on a lazy Sunday!

Tamara -

We've got plenty of room and love for "newbies" to come! You'll only be a newbie once and then a friend for life!

Congrats on the "new to you" MH and we can't wait to meet you and see it!!

Keep watch on this thread for updated news and I'll get you on the list for for the rv park and get your site settled!

I'll be posting a thread here hopefully today with meal signs ups.

Tamara,
Welcome to irv2.com. Signing up for a Texas Boomers rally on your very 1st post is the way to do it. I think you will find many great folks here on the forum and I can guarantee you you will meet the nicest folks ever in the Texas Boomers. We have campouts in the 3 different Texas regions of the Boomersa in addition to the State wide Texas Boomers Ralies. Keep checking on this site and visit our Texas Boomer Website as well.

Again welcome and will look forward to meeting ya'll in Corsicana.

Thanks all for the warm welcome.

I have good news and bad news... good news is we are loving our new MH and will be doing lots of travelling this summer.

Bad news is that DH will likely have to go offshore during the Memorial Day trip, so we aren't going to Corsicana.... I am sorry, but I haven't driven yet so we are going to Quintana so I will have family close by that can get her home for me if I need help.

We promise to catch you SOON - and I mean it! We are already looking at some of the summer dates to see if they work for us.

Have a great time -
t

It is not required to have DH along for a trip. Learn to handle the rig yourself and come on.

Sandy, our summer plans will keep us away from Texas for Memorial Day and Labor Day. If the Lord's willin' and the creek don't rise, we'll make it to Boerne at Christmas. Y'all have fun. Travel safely and see you "down the road."

Miss Donna -

I'm so thankful Ted's doing better and ya'll can get out to visit with family through the summer! Be safe, drive careful and keep in touch through your travels so we'll know where you are!

Eileen and I Left Corsicana this morning at about 7:30 (Monday, May 26) headed home to McKinney. We had a great time, as usual. The food and fellowship was great and we enjoyed being a part of a great Memorialday Celebration. 200 mile round trip and 3o gallons of gas at 3.89/ gal. -well worth it!

God bless our Troops now and forever!
