Hey Don -

I'll have to check our schedule to see if we can come. I love Canton and it's been several years since we've been there!

With Bandit in arthritis therapy and things hopping with the property in Victoria, I'm not sure what weekends we've got, but would love to come if possible.

Sandy

Sandy,
I do hope you and Rusty can make it. I will go ahead and "pencil you in".

I was over in East Texas today and took the opportunity to stop by and check out the RV Park as I had not seen it before. It is a beautiful park located on a 105 acre working ranch with 150 sites, 3 rally halls, (1 has the office and a huge pool table and other table and chairs for games etc.), paved roads, and a fishing lake. The sites are long and level. Group rate (10 + rigs) is $18 a night. Folks there were very friendly and truly seem excited that we would rally there.

It is very easy to get to, as it is located on State Highway 31 about 11 miles from Athens and 3 miles from Murchison going East toward Tyler.

In addition to close proximity to Canton and the Trade Days there are many other activities to enjoy in the area.

Again ALL Texas Boomers are encouraged to sign up for this one as it should be a great campout.

Don,
Please add us to the definite "maybes" for coming. I'll have to find someone to give Stella a ride to Canton because I'll have to stay at the park and pick up some odd jobs to help pay for her shopping. Do you think I can mow the grass at the park or wash someone's truck or trailer?

Hey Jay -

If you're looking for odd jobs to pay for Stella's shopping, I have no doubt that RustyJC would hire ya to wash the RV! That would free him up to go SHOPPING with me!!!! I'm sure this arrangement would be suitable for both of you guys!!!!

We want to come play too. I'm going to load up the truck and RV with dirt so we won't have room to carry anything back home from Canton! 28th-30th.

Don,
It looks like the Coffmans are going to have to back out of coming up to Murchison. Stella's work is interfering with our camping plans again.....

Sorry, maybe next time?

Don

I am trying to talk Bob into it. Since he went back part time to work, they do not like him to take weekends. With Easter being in April. ... Not sure what will happen. But, maybe I will come without him. Watch out. .. Here I come.
