! New ! Wagonmaster forum

Greetings Members of the South Central Region...

I am excited about a new forum that has just been added to the iRV2.com line up! It’s called the Wagonmaster Forum and you can find it at the top of the Regional Rallies and Campouts section on the main page where all the regions are listed or click on this link to go there directly....http://www.irv2.com/forums/f257/

I have several purposes for this post in your area:

Number ONE, there are many states/regions across the country who currently do not have rally groups. This new forum will provide information that members will find useful in starting or building a rally group….or just hosting a one- time event! Maybe you’ve wanted to do something in your area, but just didn’t know where to start! This new forum is the place to go!

We’ll be posting a manual for use in hosting local, state or regional events with information about how to plan an event, how to post on the irv2 calendar, how to get people signed up to come, what to do when you’re at the event.

Number TWO - this forum can be a great tool for those areas who already have active rally groups as a place to exchange ideas and experiences with other groups across the country!

Number THREE , I am currently working on a comprehensive listing of RV parks and/or campgrounds that can be used for potential National Rallies. Since I’m not able to travel the entire nation (awwww so sad!) , I need suggestions from you! You have personal knowledge of places that are on my bucket list of places to go! We’re looking for locations that

1 – have area attractions such as Branson, Nashville, Grand Canyon, Amanna Lakes, Mammoth Cave, etc.

2 – the rv park/resort should be large enough to accommodate rigs of all sizes and have experience in hosting rally groups.

If you can post on the Wagonmaster Forum or email me with your suggestions ( and website link if possible) , I can contact them and hopefully put them on the list for potential National Rally sites. These could also be used for State/Regional and Local rallies too!
