We have talked to Gwen about her sponsoring a chili cookoff at Rayford Crossing. She told us the other day that she hasn't been able to get anything going yet, so how about if we have our own chili cookoff among our group? If she gets something going, we can still be a part of her's but in the meantime, we can plan our own!

How does the weekend of October 27-29th (<span class="ev_code_RED">Changed!!</span>) sound to everyone? That would be three weeks after the RenFest at Havens Landing and about a week before the Canton weekend that Don is sponsoring.

Let me know and we'll get something going....

Well we will certainly come up for a one day visit. We should be moving into the new house the first full week in October. So things wll be a mess and a weekend off at that time will be impossible.

Jay,
I checked my schedule and I come off on-call on the 20th at 8:00am. A weekend at Rayford sounds like the way to unwind. Pencil us in if you can.

Send a message via Skype™ to Barbara S.
Sorry, I can't make it that weekend. I will be away at a church choir retreat in the Woodlands Oct. 20 - 21. I will try to stop by to say "Hi" on my way home Saturday evening.

Jay I think that we can make this one as we should be back from the Northwest by then. Sounds like great fun. I'll contribute a pot of chilli.

I got an email from Gwen saying that the only 10 sites that are together up front are back-ins and premium sites. She said that she will send out an email blast for the next weekend to see if more people would be interested in the cookoff. I don't really care, either weekend will work for me, so if anyone wants to chime in here and let me know if there is a problem with changing weekends please do!
