Official: October Havens Landing & Texas Ren Fest

It is finally time and we are ready to go to Havens Landing for October / 6th to 8th (9th). Here are the folks who I have signed up and the arrival / departure dates.

If you are staying over till Monday, the 9th., please let me know, so I can notify the park. Those of us staying over, will not be in the "rally area" because, there is a big rally coming in on Sunday at noon and the park was nice enough not to move us.

On Friday, we will do the "Happy, Happy Hour" Finger Food and appetizers. Since it is October and the Ren Fest is having Octoberfest celebrating Germany, lets pick German food. (But, it is up too you)

Saturday Night - 6:00 p.m. Pot Luck Dinner

The rest is on your own. If you would care to go to the Texas Renaissance Festival, the gates open at 9:00 am and close at dusk. Check out their website site for advance ticket sales.

Pat and I are going to have to drop out too. Our trip to Seattle that we were planning right after Labor day has changed to the 24th of September through mid October. We hate to miss the fun but I am sure you guys will manage to get by without us.

Please cancel my reservation - when I sent the information out to my friends I was told that I couldn't be at the campout because I have to be at a surprise party Saturday.

Well, Richard signed up to bike the MS150 to Corpus that weekend of the Oct 7-8, and I have to drive the "sag" wagon for his team.

I should learn not to plan anything too far in advance, this is what happens.
We are still going to go to RenFest, but it will have to be another weekend.

I'm gonna "Sneak across the border" that weekend myself.

But I am going to be at a gathering of "Clatterin trucks" at Rayfords Crossing. (Parked right next to Mark, MRBV10)

We'll be-a-thinkin of yall while we're eatin a bait of BBQ.

I'm also gonna make a run Sept. 23rd & 24th up near Plano.

I had better watch out crossin the border so much. Dem danged ole border pAtrol folks might catch me.
