Saturday will be the pot luck. We can fire up the BBQ and cook what ever meat you want to bring and a veggie of dessert to share.

Antendees: (will add more as we get sign ups)

Tom and Charlie
Warren and Gwen
Heinz and Betty
Dan and Norma
Lee and Marilyn ...Possibly...looks real good.

Saturday Pot-Luck Dinner

Ken

I think Jerry Pittman and Pawnee Dan said earlier that they were planning on coming also, from the other thread.

Lets get those 10 rigs needed for the hall, whatcha say guys and girls.

<BLOCKQUOTE class="ip-ubbcode-quote"><div class="ip-ubbcode-quote-title">quote:</div><div class="ip-ubbcode-quote-content"> Well after it smacked me about 2456 times in about 1.35 sec I was pretty sure my living as a machinist would be a little harder to do with only one hand!!! About 10 minutes later when I could stand to let go with my other hand I figured that I would be missing at least two fingers. Well I survived but I have a new found respect for spring loaded items.
</div></BLOCKQUOTE>
Grant, I can guarantee you that after the racket that thing made when it turned loose, it was going to the shop. I wasn't about to mess with it. Its a lot easier writing the check than replacing fingers (or more).

First one there picks an area and establishes Okie Boomer Central.... Plant the Pink Chickens and they will flock.

As soon as we get back from Burleson, we'll start working the highway here with our empty fuel can and sign so that we will have enough money for fuel for the next outing. There is an advantage to living close to a major highway! Susan will not have too far to walk in the heat to collect money.

for the Saturday potluck.
Sure looking forward to our get together.
Hopefully we can get more people coming.
Pat and Don,
We aren't going to have anything with shrimp
in it this time
We need some other OK Boomers to come to the
LA Rally so we won't be by ourselves, we need
some back up

Ok, don't mark me down as a for sure, but we are going to try to make it. We start a short vacation this weekend, and we are holding it down to just taking the rig to branson. Diesel prices being what they are . I've got the tractor overhauled and put back together, and mowing with it. So we are back to a half way normal schedule. Like last time we'll just have to wing it for a parking place.

Will talk to wife and see what she wants to make! Then after I pick myself up off of the floor I will figure out what "I" am going to be fixing. Just kidding, we will talk about it and post tomorrow or the next day. Might have to find a big rig to draft down there. I aint tailgating, I'm drafting!!

10/4 on that!

Ken, put us down for a broccoli cheese casserole. Somewhere down the road we'll post the recipe for the snicker salad so who ever wants to bring it next, can. Who did I send it to last? I know we did so...maybe that person can bring it this time. O, I remember, it was Betty!

Man, its been a long time since I sent you a PM inviting you'll to a campout. Really glad to see that you are finally going to make it. Looking forward to meeting up with you. Look out for that guy Ken though, he's a troublemaker. Seriously, glad to have you aboard, we have a really good group here. And, the main thing I have to remember here is, I don't speak for everyone else. And, by the way, you'll have a bunch in common with Ken since he's a ford guy. God help him.
