We’re looking for a campground or storage area recomendation within 50 miles of Houston. We want to leave the RV for a couple weeks while using air transport to cover some ground quickly.
Do any of you Texan’s have a suggestion? My intention would be to leave it unpowered. Just looking for a secure and reasonable spot to park it for two to three weeks. I know there must be a dozen storage facilities but would prefer a campground where we could spend a few nights on either side of an air trip where it could be left in place or parked near by securely.

Welcome to the Spring Oaks RV Community — Welcome to Sprint Oaks RV Park

This is a nice place and has a storage area associated with it. Plus it is not too far from IAH.

Are you Escapees members? Livingston isn't that far from Houston, and you can park there.

Try Country Place in Conroe, a very nice park.
Country Place RV Park Home Page, camping near Lake Conroe in Cut N Shoot Texas, not far from the Texas Gulf Coast, Crighton Theatre, Sam Houston National Forest
