We are traveling and were at the Lake Mineral Wells State Park, and noticed that Perrin was just up the road. We drove up to check out the campground and took a few pictures. If you are interested, check out my blog......... I don't know how to post pictures here!!!

Richard and Patsy -
Glad ya'll got to see this little jewel in the middle of nowhere! It is actually only 2 1/2 miles from the town of Perrin, but it is such a nice place. Your photos look every bit as nice as the ones we took which means that Kevin and Doris keep the place looking nice all year long!

Yes, that camp grounds are very nice and kept up to date and CLEAN. There of course is swimmng pool. hot tub, fishing and the nicest rec center for cooking and eating. We have been there with Holiday Ramblers and certainly enjoyed the week ends there. Kevin and Doris make everyone feel welcome! We are looking forward to another RV long week end there in November. and again in July for the National for Boomers.

We spent Labor Day weekend there with a group of friends. The park is clean, friendly and fun. There is also a 9-hole par 3 golf course where my wife and I attempted to learn about golf (semi-successfully).

Thanks very much for the offer, but we are also members of the North Texas Camping Association and that is our November weekend at Purtis Creek State Park.

We may be signing up for the national rally there.

We also need to attend a Boomers weekend when we can find the time.

Understand mrschwarz we too have busy schedules. Hope to see ya'll at a boomers rally down the road. We'll be having a couple up in the North Texas area next year for sure so perhaps you can make one of them.
