If there is going to be something going on Friday night let me know so I can go up on Thursday night. If I come after work it take me until at least 10:00 to drive home, load up and hook up, and drive to Rayford. If we plan something for Friday night I will set up Thursday night so I can drive to Rayford after work on Friday and get there by 5:30 - 6:00.

Y'all better get those flamingoes out for recognition. Lake Woodlands is a beautiful venue. No buoys, no waves, I don't know about current. Good luck

Donna, we can put the flamingos out at Rayford. I've got to transport my model boat, tool box, chairs and canopy in our Saturn from the MH at Rayford to the Lake Woodlands site. It is already "cozy" with Judy and I so there are no flamingo hitchhikers for that ride.
The only buoys will be the ones placed by the race committee. Depending on the wind, there could be small waves and I agree with you that there will be no current. Now grackles - maybe.

It was nice to see several of you at Rayford. I really appreciated Ken and Ron coming out the boat races. Guys, if you can believe it, the wind was worse on Sunday morning than on Saturday. I guess I'll never figure out how to sail in that "stuff". I wish that we had had a little more wind. My boat is pretty good if I have something to work with.
Charlie
P.S. Sorry that I wasn't more sociable. I was trying to concentrate as best as I could.

Yea, let us know how you did. By the way, Ellen told me that her and Phil work together at Marathon. You never know who you will meet when you go out.

I ended up in 6th out of 11 boats. I had been 4th at the end of day 1 so you can see how much I slipped on Sunday. I had several great starts but was near dead last by the first mark. I had been able to come back several times downwind on Saturday but that was not to be on Sunday.
I HATE DRIFTERS!!!!!!

Charlie, look at this way...half of them did worse than you did overall.
