Next Summer season The wife and I would like to take a trip to the Red Oak area to visit my brother. Can some one recommend a CG in that Area?

Miles, I'm surprised no one has answered. I'm not real familar with the DFW area and presume that you are talking about Red Oak, Texas, which his just south of Dallas near I35E.

Only things I knownear by are Treeetops RV Village at Arlington and Traders Village.

Over at Burleson is RV Ranch.

I can not think of any State Parks nearby.

Cedar Hill State Park in southwest Dallas area
has camping.

City of Grand Prairie operated Loyd Park on the west side of Joe Pool Lake

Purtis Creek State Park is more south (away from Dallas) on Cedar Creek Lake

Corps Of Eng have several small parks on Bardwell Lake south of Red Oak

Yes Red Oak Texas is the area I am talking about. I guess I will have to send him out on a Mission to check out any camp grounds on the area.
