hi, thinking about retiring in the rio grande valley, but haven't been there in 10 years or so, and that was for only a couple of days.

i would appreciate hearing from people who are familiar with that area as to why or why they wouldn't retire there. i am sure that it gets hot and humid in the summer, but i can take the heat. it is the cold that i can't take, and for me, anything below 50 degrees is cold.
