The Little Rock North KOA on Crystal Hill Rd. (I-40 / I-430 junction area) is a typical KOA. Decent amenities, slightly high prices. It is in a better than average area (although close to heavy interstate traffic) and reasonably convenient to shopping (West Little Rock area). We're local, so we've never used it - but I'd stay there if I was looking.

Porscheracer,, Thanks for that. I was looking at that one
& Trails End campground. Reports from Trailer life weren't to nice about TE.

I'm not sure if this is the correct area but there is a new park at exit 7 in Texarkana, AR. Mostly gravel. OK for a day or two.
