Kris,
Looking forward to seeing some boomers. I know we are probably all doing the festival on Saturday, but are we doing anything Friday night that we need to sign up for? See you soon. Alan

We made it through the storm (IKE) OK some minor damage fence lots of limbs and one big tree down, just got our power back. Fuel is the major problem, they have it but no power to get it. Our Trailer is fine there we're a few at the storage lot that hade some major damage, they lost one of the covered units. See you all at Lake Medina definately need some R&R

Bill & Sharon,
Sorry to hear you can't make it, but there'll be more! As far as the drive in, only the first time is as bad as you think, besides--- you could have come in at night!!!

Lee & Mary Jane,
Bob will problly roll in around noon Thursday, was planning on noon Wedsday, but the Home Depot has been snowed------

Hugh and Vickie are more than welcome, just let us know their site number, also while I'm thinking of it, Bob & Tillie's site number so the group will also know.

See ya sooooon,

Unfortunately Pat and I are going to have to cancel. It's a long story involving my 78 year old sister's evacuation of her trailer and stuff from where she lives on Matagorda Bay near Pt Lavaca because of IKE. We simply won't have the time to make it this weekend. Sorry for the late notice. If I owe you anything for the park because of the cancellation just let me know.

Don and Pat,

we're disappointed that you won't be at Lake Medina this weekend...as usual you will be busy helping someone. Since we can't commend you in person like we were going to...i'll say it in writing.
It's Boomers like the Allens that make this club like a family. it touched our hearts to read the forum and see what you and other members were doing to help before, during , and after Ike.
We remember how the Boomers helped our family out after Katrina, and we plan to "pay it forward" .
It's a great feeling to know you have friends who would offer to help, even before you ask for it.

and P.S. tell Pat I finally remembered her magnetic jewelry and had them ready in the trailer.
Oh well...next time!

We'll miss you!
