Gary and Sue, I hear that there's a cool front coming soon, and I hope it this weekend. Either way, it will be good to see you again and I'll get you signed up.

I talked to the park and there are still a few sites available, so come on down!

Don,
Why don't we wait until we get there to decide whether we are going to Kemah or having a potluck? It's about an hour drive each way, not to mention the amount of fuel to get there. The foods good there but there are places in the Woodlands that have good food too and we don't have to drive a couple of hours to get there. </div></BLOCKQUOTE>

Hey Jay we very flexible and will go with what ever all want to do. I wasn't suggesting we go to Kemah to eat however. I have only been to the boardwalk once and Pat has never been. We will probably head over there Sat morning and be back in time Sat evening to do what ever the group wants to do for dinner.

Don,
Thats fine if that is what you want to do. There may be others that would like to ride over for the day, although to me there isn't enough to do in Kemah to stay all day unless you're going to eat there too. What I need to do is to schedule something at one of the RV parks in Kemah and we can spend as much time as we want on the boardwalk. The only problem with those parks is that the sites are REAL close together.

We can talk about it when we all get to the park.

I'd like to join you - do I need to make my own reservations with Rayford?

Jodi,
I'll add you to the list. There is no need to call Rayford, I'll send them a list of attendees.

See you soon Gary and Sue.

Hey y'all,
We are MAXXED OUT for the weekend. It may be possible to get more sites, but I have to know soon. I'm planning to send the list off to the park tonight, so if you're putting off signing up, better do it soon or the park will be full.

Pauleen and Bernest, that sounds good to me. Just staying in the park and hanging with our friends is a great way to relax and have a good time.

I got our agreement letter from Rayford about this upcoming gathering. We're locked in for a $25.00 rate for the rally dates and can extend that a few days before or after the rally dates.

I should also point out that Rayford, like most parks now, have a minimum of a 72 hour notice if someone can't make it. If we don't meet that, the club is responsible for a night's stay in the open site. If this happens, I'm asking that you contact the park directly to let them know that you can't make it. Sometimes work keeps me from checking this site as often as I want to, so I could miss the deadline.
Hopefully this won't happen, but sometimes things happen to all of us.....
Thanks

Send a message via Skype™ to Barbara S.
I am going in on Thursday night and will be in site 98. They told me I would get the rally rate for Thursday too.

Hi,
With the himacane Gustov lurking in the background, will the park 'understand' if
the rains come just in time for the rally ?
We'd have to make a decision about canceling
4 days out from the possible landfall of the
thing. The predicted track is (right now) anywhere from Galveston to N. Orleans ???

Gary,
I feel certain that the park would make some allowances for the storm. It's too early to say for sure where its going to hit so I guess we'll all just have to hold our breath and cross our fingers.

Hi Jay,
I called the park and let them know we
couldn't come. I've looked at the weather.gov
hurrican site and there's at least a 50%
chance the thing will come ashore between
Beaumont and west of New O. on next Thursday.
Anyway, we hope it goes somewhere else and
everyone has a great time. gary and sue
