Shelly, who works in the office at Rayford Crossing, has invited the Texas Boomers to come to the park for her birthday on Sunday May 6th. She said that we were the only group that she was inviting because we are her favorites...

I thought that anyone that wanted to go to the park to stay that weekend can do so, and those that don't want to camp can still come by to help celebrate her birthday. We could probably have a pool/hot tub party and get something to eat later and depart about 4-5 o'clock in the evening.

Well we will not be able to be there. But tell her from that crazy guy from Louisiana.

Joke with her and tell her something to the effect "I knew there was more than one reason I liked her, my birthday is 11 days later and Ashley's is 9 days later". (May 17th for me, May 15th for our daughter)

Yall be SURE to get her a GOOD birthday card.

I think we'll just go to the park for that day. I hope that others will join us there to help Shelly celebrate.

Jay, this is iffy, but I may be up and at 'em by then! We're available after 12:30 or so on Sunday.

I spoke with Gwen this past weekend and found out that she'd like to do something for Saturday, May 5th, and the day before Shelly's birthday party. We must have all forgotten that this is Cinco De Mayo!

I suggested eating mexican food all day Saturday, but she said it's cheaper and easier to rent a margarita machine and cook fajitas on the grill.

Anybody???

We are planning to meet the Rogers and the Taubes at Rayford about 1 o'clock Sunday afternoon if anyone else wants to drop by.

Hey Don,
I hope the rumor is correct and "someone" drops in at 1 o'clock in the afternoon. We plan to just hang out around the park or somewhere close and then meet Gwen and Billy and of course the birthday girl at Goose's Acre in the Woodlands at 6:00 for the birthday party.

Well if nothing "Rips, snorts or tears apart" (And the Creek don't rise TOO high) I hope to be there early tomorrow afternoon. I don't have any hard tie set to pull out. I am just planning to hook up and head out whenever I wake up fully. (If there is such a thing)

Want to get there before yall give her the "Birthday cards and such" yall have for her. I got one today that should fit right nice with it being her 21st.

Tomorrow night there at Rayfords is gonna be the first night for me to lay my head in the "New to us rig".

We had a really nice evening celebrating Shelly's 21st birthday. It was good to see Don again. Madame Boomer came over to visit too! We went to eat and had some good food. It was fun to remember where we were when we turned 21 years old. Where were you??
