Hi Boomers -

There has been some discussion on another thread about having a "after Ike get together" somewhere. I apologize for not following through as I normally do with these types of things!

I have been sick as a dog for the past 22 days and just went back to the doctor yesterday for more shots/meds. Hopefully it'll clear up with this next 10-12 day round. Right after Ike, I managed to inhale/ingest mold spores while cleaning out the fridge and they are taking root!

Anyway, I wanted to see how many might be able to meet somewhere around 5:30 - 6:00 on SUNDAY EVENING for supper. Let me know if you are interested and we'll find a Mexican Food restaurant somewhere in the middle so the drive isn't too far for anyone!

Sandy,
After the thread kinda died, I signed up to go to Rayford for the weekend. Nov. 2nd would be better for me. Depending where it would be this weekend, if we could come, after just getting home.

Count me in, can't wait to see everyone! I will be going to Rayford this weekend too, plus I have choir practice from 4 - 5:30. Ok, so there are a few bumps in the road but I will fight my way through the obstacles to make it there.

My brain is just not thinking too good these days....over medicated I suspect - so please forgive me for overlooking the Chili Cook Off night weekend that several are attending.

Upon further thought, Sunday night really isn't a really good night...makes for a very short evening if we have to drive too far. We can't relax and spend time together if we have to get up and go to work the next day. A Saturday night would be the best night

I'm thinking of some place in the Galeria area...maybe? We've got folks from Alvin/Dickinson area to the Woodlands and from the 290/1960 area and in between so I'm looking for a good Mexican Restaurant somewhere in the middle!! HELP!

How about November 15th or Nov 22nd?

Sandy

I think lunch November first or second is a GREAT idea.

Of course the fact I will actually be at Rayfords that weekend has NOTHING to do with that.

This Sunday is out for us as we too are going to Rayford's for the Chili Cookoff. We could possibility do a Nov. Sunday afternoon or evening somewhere.

Sandy,
Suggestion !

Mission Burrito

They have 3 locations that might work - Durham, Alabama or Rice Village. We eat at the Alabama one all the time from work. Mission Burrito have a website if you want to check it out.

www.missionburritos.com

They might work. The one on Alabama has a patio, but I never have been to the others.

Sandy,
We will be at Rayford this weekend. The guys will be hunting most weekends, but I could make it. I don't mind driving anywhere. Thanks.
