Texas Boomer Veterens Day Rally 11-13 Nov

Another rally has been added to the Texas Boomer Rally Schedule for 2005 by Madame Boomer. It will be over Veterens Day Weekend 11-13 November at the Rusk State Park in Rusk, Texas.

Activities for the rally will be to honor our vets, ride the Texas State Railroad and have a big Texas Style BBQ.

It is recommended that you make reservations for the train ride (on the Texas State Railroad web page) for Saturday morning Nov 12 from Rusk to Palestine and return.

Rates for the rally is $11 per night (Group Parking Area) plus $2 daily park entry fee per adult.

I have reserved Group Picnic Pavillion #3 for Friday and Saturday. On Friday night we can get together in the Pavillion for sandwiches, chips, etc. On Saturday, We will have a
breakfast fit for an Army Saturday morning and honor our vets, ride the train to Palestine and back, and have a good old Texas Style Bar Be Que Saturday Night

> Enter Arrival Date (i.e. 11 Nov 2005)
> Enter Number of Days (i.e. 2 if you plan to leave on Sunday)

> You will not be given a reserved site # on line but will be given one when you check in.

I "bumped" this back up to the top so it didn't "fall off" the 1st page. I know Nov is a long way off to make plans, but a lot of you expressed interest when it was announced it at the Easter Rally this weekend. This Boomer Rally is a bit different in that you have to make your on reservation by using reserveamerica.com or by calling the Texas central reservations.

If you are sure of your plans to attend, I suggest you go ahead and make your reservation now.
