Boomers one and all -

So many have commented "we can't wait until Easter" to get together - so I've found a campground that has room for us! Unfortunately, many campgrounds reserve the winter months for the Winter Texans.

Hempstead is a small town, but close by are all kinds of antique shops and other area attractions including the largest selection of concrete art at Fraziers that you've ever seen!

WHERE: Red Oak Ranch
52715 Hwy 290
Hempstead, Texas

GPS COORDINATES: N 30 07 382 W 096 06 750

SITE: www.redoakranchrv.com

WHEN: Feb 11th - 13th
or any part thereof that you can come!

AMENITIES: 30/50 amp sites together
use of the NICE REC HALL all weekend

Talk about providence...Susan will be in Houston that weekend. SHe won't have a way to camp unless she is taken in by a kind soul. This all depends on exactly when Krista and the new grandson decide to do things.

In any case she will probably commander a car and drive up for part of the day Saturday.

Keep you posted.

Dang - We joined the Texas Boomers over a year ago hoping to make all the rallies and to date we have been able to make just 2 (we had a wonderful time at each of those I must say).

Now we find our schedules conflicting again for the sweetheart rally. I will be on a ski trip to South Lake Tahoe 5-12 Feb and don't arrive back home until late evening on the 12th - too late for us to hitch up and head on down to Hempstaed. Once agin, Pat and I will have to miss this one

I am sure ya'll will have a great time - somebody drink a marg or 2 for us.

Don -

I just cannot believe that you'd schedule a trip to Tahoe over a Boomer Rally!

I know you'll have fun there and we'll miss you though. Don't fall down a mountain!

Mark your calendar NOW for the Easter Rally and don't schedule anything around the date! We just gotta get the Princess and Cricket together!

Sandy,

Sign us up! Everyone please keep your fingers crossed that we can make this one ... Dwight has been out of town for all the Rallies lately. Still sick over missing the Christmas Rally! I WANT TO GO CAMPING!! The weather has been beautiful and I am stuck at home. Told Dwight that at least he gets to see something new with his traveling but he said it wasn't the same,...so I guess we both want to go camping.

Hope to see everyone soon.

Sandy -

We are going to try to make this one since it is close. We will be babysitting until 6:30 Friday evening so we won't be getting in until around 8:00 or later.
