Anyone going?

Will this show have accessories or will it just be trailers? My wife and I are eager to see some junk for our new 5er...

Thanks...

We wondered if there would be accessories at the show too. Usually there arent, so we decided not to go to the show. And besides, we've already spent waaaay too much on accessories 'n stuff for the new FW

So we're goin' campin' this weekend.

Ford says it will be realeased from the factory on March 21 and it takes 7-10 days to transport to the dealer. Ugh...hurry up already!

Also, update on our 5th wheel: the dealer is supposed to have it either tomorrow or Wednesday. Then one day to prep so we should have it Wednesday or Thursday! We are so excited! I have a huge pile of stuff to put in it!

Boy, Rob, you are up against the wire. Ford says not to tow until you have 500 miles on the truck. You need to let the ring and pinion gears in the rear axle seat before loading them heavily. Guess you will make a road trip to nowhere as soon as it hits the ground.

Wow...500 miles...glad you said that I did not realize. Makes sense...not even sure if it will be here or not in time anyway. Plus we have to get the hitch/wiring moved from the old truck to the new truck.

Has anyone heard anything special needed when using the factory trailer brake? Surely it is just a 7 pin connector and you wire as normal...hope so. Thanks again Ken...anyone want to go cruising at the drop of a hat as soon as it arrives? Maybe I could get my 500 miles in by driving to all your houses to show it to you!!!!

Bring her on down Rob, even if it is a Ford. Always happy to help out. Especially since you're with my friends in B-ville.

On edit: If you can't get it broke in in time let me know and I'll bring my old Chevy up and haul it down for you.

We picked up the new truck last Tuesday...funny story have to tell you all this weekend.

So far we already have 450 miles on it so the 500 limit before Friday should be pretty easy! Several trips to Tulsa will do it for you!

Wow...ever installed a fifth wheel hitch...PITA! Drilling through the frame is really tough. But, it is done now! At the window tint place today, did the DVD player last Wednesday...I think we will be ready!

Any of you into Geocaching?

I bet it sure drives nice. You going to pass out towels this weekend so that we won't all slobber on the new truck.
