To all our Texas and Oklahoma Boomer friends,
Betty got her total new knee on Monday the 6st. They had her up walking in her room the
next day and the day after that they had her walking down the hall. She came home on the
10th.
She has been hobbling around here with her walker and working with the physical therapist
and is doing real good.
Our daughter came over and took her to Walmart on the 21st, of course she road the go cart and did fine. Plus I needed a break from her And yesterday she got in the pool, we have a
deck to the pool off the bedroom and steps with a handrail going down into the pool, she did just great on that. She'll be ready to sooooon

Good news Heinz, she'll be chasing you around the room before long, then you'll have to be carefull what you do. I know all about sending them to walmart (or somewhere), breaks ARE needed every once in a while.

Tell her we said to keep up the good work.

Tom,

When I say bopping I mean a playful hit (lightly of course).

Please explain what it means when you say bopping?

Or not............

Well with the "New knee" I would be more worried about the foot connected to that knee.

Glad to hear that she is on the mend. Shoot, now with the new knee you may have trouble keeping up with her.

Heinz and Betty -

I'm so pleased to hear that she is recouperating from the knee surgery so well. All of us (I fear) with arthritis may be facing the same thing sooner than we think. Our Miss Betty is a role model for those of us 'pink chickens' who fear the replacement!

Please give her a big hug for me!....aw shucks...Heinze, hug yourself too while you're at it!

love you guys
Sandy

Betty,
So glad everything is going well with the knee replacement. In a couple more months it will seem like your real knee except with no pain !

I know as I went thru it with Pat. However it looks like she is going to have to get the other one done.

Would love to see you guys in Perrin over Vets Day in Nov.
