Boy, this is Texas.

And yes it is HOT, HOT, HOT. But, I thought we camped in anything. Floods, Snow, Hurricanes, Sunshine.

"We", a few really die hard Texans and some transplants are going to Lake Medina for August 4 to 6.

Don and Pat Allen are even coming from Tennessee to be there.

We will probably grill Hamburgers the first night and on Saturday, a potluck cold salads dinner with finger foods. But, we do have Air Conditioning. And lots of Trees. Ok, the Lake is a little low, but this is a chance to get out before school starts.

Ok, I know I should get some good responses to this or at least your best excuse as to why you are "Whimpy"

Yupp Kris we are in Benton AR tonight 2 sites down from where we were on the way up. Should be home tomorrow and looking forward to seeing ya'll at Lake Medina on the 4th. I was wading in the Stones River in Smyrna,TN yesterday and can't wait to cool my toes in Lake Medina.

I really have a hard time believing nobody hit on this. I guess Texas is not what I expected. Guess I better move back to Oklahoma.

Of course, I got here as fast as I could and I was only 7 year old at the time, but ,,, heh.
