I'll agree with you Arch. I lived in LA a year and by far Atlanta has many more big rigs passing through. I think that's the reason - Atlanta is a hub of interstates; however, LA is more of an end or start for hauling. Just my thoughts.

Seems most posters are talking everything except I-20. To me I-20 is the easiest way to go through Atlanta. Straight through downtown. Not nearly as big of a mess as I-75 / I-85 mixing it up downtown.

Of course you are right Wiz, only problem is the curves on the west side of the Capital over to Fulton Industrial can make some interesting driving when there is a stall in the far left lane and everyone is driving hammer down. From the east, it is great to the downtown area since the lanes and shoulders are wider.
There was a Braves game last night (Retired Bobby's number), a Falcons game and the big golf tournament was being played up off 75 on Johns Creek. Even after 7 it was not a good time to be in HOT-lanta.
