Anyone ever been to the Clear Creek Campground in the Bankhead National Forest in Alabama? I plan on going this weekend for a couple of nights.

I have been trying to find this campground on a map. I can find the reserveusa map of the campground but can not find the location relative to any town. I found a Corinth Recreation area close to Double Springs. I am looking for a campground on Lake Smith close to Jasper.

Corinth is a Bankhead campground

Bankhead National Forest Click on the campground names to link to the description and directions for each campground. It also lists the nearest city/town.

Don't forget to check to see if the campground is open. Only 1 (Brushy Lake - Wren AL) is open all year (but not the water hook-up), the others are seasonal and only 1 is open early. I would read all the way thru on the descriptions too as they do not all have flush toilets and hot showers.
