We are planning to go the second week in November. What campgrounds, with full hookups, do you recommend?

We DO NOT recommend the KOA West at Asheville. It sits on a hill over the interstate and was incredibly noisy all night. If you're hearing impaired, it's a nice place.

Wow no CG's in this area? Also interested. This seems to be a popular Location for retirees. Would like to investigate the area also.

Check out RV Park Reviews You might want to look a little outside of Asheville (You do NOT want to stay near Canton...Paper Mill and boy does it smell!!! ). Use a campground directory to find campgrounds in the neighbouring towns. Pay attention to closing dates as many area campgrounds will close for the winter around November.
