Hi, Lou and Robin:

You guys, the Mullicans and Vern and Linda were missed this weekend. The weather was very nice and in addition to our usualy outing to WM, we got to check out the big beautiful SUPER TARGET!

This will be our last rally for a while. Time to start packing so we'll be done in time to paint the new place when the current owners move out.

Hope your repair won't be a pricey one, and that we'll all be together real soon.

By the way, I'm using our laptop and WiFi but before your message came up, your avitar was HUGE and it took a while to download. You may want to reduce the size a bit. )

Take care and God bless,
Love ya,
Cheri

This avatar issue really needs attention. These huge pictures are making our forum uninviting to members and guests who don't have fast connections.

Lou and Robin,
Hope everything/everyone is "charged" back up by now. Am sincerely sorry you were not able to attend the May rally. What a beautiful site, as you probably alreay know. Was our first for this site!! We will be absent until the August Lazyday's Rally. Hope to see you then. AND Lou, your Ice Cream Social was a success!! Maybe next time (August would be a good time!!) you'll be able to attend!!!! Take care!!

CHERI

I JUST CHECKED OUR AVITAR AND IT IS 100 X 65 WHICH IS THE SIZE DAVE SAID IT SHOULD NOT EXCEED. I HAVE TO AGREE WITH DAVE THAT IT IS PROBABLY HARD FOR MEMBERS WHO HAVE TO WAIT. MAYBE THE KEY TO THIS IS "NO AVITARS"

Hi, Robin:

As far as I know, this is a "new" problem? I have never encountered it before. The issue I was referring to at the rally, was unbelievable. Your beautiful MH photo took up the entire screen. Wish I knew more about computers.

I wouldn't like to see the avitars become a thing of the past. It's fun to see them and a neat and quick way to identify the sender.

It seems that everything is OK for now, so we'll just move on.

Were you able to get your battery problems resolved? Hope they could be recharged and you didn't have to replace them.

We sure did miss you guys this weekend but tell Lou his ICE CREAM SOCIAL was a huge success. Mary Prescott made home-made ice cream and it was delicious. Mine was store-bought, but it was still cold.

Ya'll take care and we'll see you in July. We're busy packing so our coach will stay in storage during May and June.

Cheri

Lou,
After you get the batteries charged back up. Get the specific gravity tester and check each cell. They should be over 1275 or very near 1300 sg. If not, then if it's below 1250 I would replace the battery as that cell is starting to go. Did you leave anything turned on when you put it in storage? Was the engine battery also dead? Check propane detector, some come wired with power from both the house and engine batteries. If you have disconnects, then shut them off when putting into storage. If the batteries come back up, then you should be okay, just watch the water level.

Right now were on the way back from Illinois and looking at property in Clarksville TN. Talk to you later. Oh and Hi to Robin...

Jim,
Thanks for the directions, yes I left something on...but that was a "test" that I planned to run. I just needed to know how long you could leave the water pump on prior to draining a battery, and "of course" it was my "intention" not to click off the disconnect swith as I left the motorhome in storage.
Ok, are you starting to get the image??? Yes, Lou the dumb*** RV guy has struck again. But the good news is at least this time it didn't require any touch up paint OR reinstallation of the passenger front seat..so I think I am getting better.
See you guys, and good luck with the hunt in TN.
Doesn't it get cold in TN???
