I have promiced my wife that for this years vacation, we would go to Chattanooga. I have made reservations at Best Holiday Park, and was wondering what is a "must see" in the area. I have check out via the web the railway and such. My wife has Multiple Sclerosis, so walking very far is out of the question. We do have a 4 wheel pride mobility cart for her, so anything that requires walking must be able to be accessed by using this cart. You can send via e-mail, or post.
Thanks,

The aquarium is worth the visit. It is an escalator or elevator ride to the top and then ramps all the way to the bottom. Plenty of special access accomodations. It's pretty slick how they trace a trickle of water from the mountains down to the sea.
Then there is the tram ride to the top of Lookout Mountain. Some access accomodations but not much to do at the top unless you are fairly mobile. Still, ride to top, visit the gift shop and ride back down (there is a narrative on the tram). If it is a pretty day the view is worth it. You can also drive it yourself, nice scenery and it lets you look around more at the top.
There is a river boat cruise too. You can ride an old paddle wheeler and take a short ride or a full-blown dinner cruise, there are a variety of cruise lengths.
Just off the top of my head that is about it. I am sure there is more.

Don't forget the Imax (across from the Aquarium) and you can use the "foot bridge" (old bridge closed off and open only to foot traffic) to cross the River over to Coolidge Park. Nice Park/Shopping/Galleries and check out the Hand carved (by locals) carousel. I would reccomend that you go to the Chattanooga website to get more info.

I think the aquarium was on my wife's list. We took the scenic boat ride when we were at Branson, MO last year, and that was nice.
Thanks for the info.

My wife and I saw NASCAR on a IMAX screen. Wow!! Wish I could hook that up to my television. I'll bookmark your website, and have my wife look things over.
Off subject, but I see you have a solid side pop-up. I use to have one, too. I think mine was a 1975, but don't hold me to that. It was green, and liked to eat tires. Is this the same one that has the solid sides on the sleeping ends, that you have to put the roof and end up, all in one piece, clip it to the roof of the unit, then the side pieces go in, then set the roof back on top of everything to make it secure? Pulled mine with a 1978 International Scout II.
Thanks again for the information.

Yup, That's what I have but mine is real good on tires. It was that nasty 1970's apple green but I repainted it to a dark green. I pull mine with a Jeep Grand Cherokee (V8) and it has a 12 ft floor with full sized beds on each end. I have made a "few" changes to it! Thought I could get rid of it this spring but looks like I will need to hang onto it until next spring (Bus is still unusable).

Yep, the one I had was green, too. Didn't even have a frig, just an icebox. When I bought this one, it had some skinny tires on it, and they didn't last very long. Ended up putting some kind of wide trailer tire on, and that stop the tire monster from eatting tires. That poor trailer got pulled everyplace that I was stationed in the Army. And, had to set for a year when I was overseas.
