Cheri,
Sorry to see you cancelling out on the Christmas AND the New Years Eve Rally.

I know the Christmas Rally is ALWAYS the highlight RALLY of the YEAR.

And it appears that this New Years Eve Rally is becoming a tradition as well.

It has been sooooooooo long since we have driven the Motorhome anywhere other than a "service" facility I'm not sure I remember how to work everything !!!!!!!

OK, as the official assistant to the Wagonmistress duties are about to be assigned.

Ralphie, You have been appointed as SANTA. I know you have the hat from prior years. Your offical duties will be given to you Saturday evening by Vectrola. Vectrola and Robin will be your Elfs, and should be available for any actual "work" that needs to be done.

James (Islander) you are being assigned as Fire Cheif. I know Derek is a retarded Fireman, but somehow I am not sure if I can trust him with large matches, besides you have connections in Brevard County if something gets out of hand.

Bill, you are in charge of the annual day trip to Sun Coast RV. I have checked and Jennifer is working, and I promised her you would bring her a buyer for a new coach. I know you don't want to let her down.

Jan & Janice & Larry, you three are in charge of posting updates and pictures of the happenings for those that are unable to attend.

Terry & LInda you get a "pass" as this is your first FL Event, sit back and watch with amazement.

Mary & Pat, the two of you will be the Security Team. After last year I expect the both of you to enforce the no nudity and public intoxication rules that Brevard County has in place. It will also be your responsibility to post the bonds for those that don't abide.

Rick, as usual you will be in charge of entertainment. As Pat will be working security, Tom Mitchell will have plenty of time to rehearse as your straight man.

Tom and Dee, as you guys drive a "gas" rig I thought it only proper to put you in charge of "gas" control. Keep a close eye on Cheryl, I think her excuse "it was Rick" is wearing thin.

Jim, of Barb & Jim, you are in charge of Misquito Control...just keep puffin' on the pipe and walking around the campground.

Barb, of Barb & Jim, you are in charge of pollution control. Just in case Jim gets out of hand. You will also need to be a back-up for Tom and Dee just in case it really is "always" Rick.

Yours truly, will be in charge of giving out assignments on a last minute basis as needed. Derek will be my assistant, which should work out fine since neither one of us has a clue what is happening or what needs to be done.

If I haven't mentioned your name in the above list it does NOT mean you won't have a job. Probably means I just can't "write it" on this site..OR it is still in development !!!!!!!

See Ya'll in a couple of weeks !!!!!!!!!!

LOU

Colleen and I regrettably will not be able to attend the Christmas Rally as we had intended all along since before June and we are very disappointed to miss this event.

The only reason why we can't attend is that we bought a house in Conway, SC and we just closed on it and we're going to be busy unpacking our stuff. Our son is coming down from Connecticut with a straight job (truck) this week so we will have family with us for Thanksgiving dinner.

We will be back in Florida during the first week in January and we'll be going to quite a few rallies in the area concluding with the Brooksville FMCA rally in the beginning of February.

Colleen and I hope we can meet up at at one of the future FL Boomer Rally real soon.

Hi Carolyn!
Can you please add Jon and I to the Christmas Rally list and also to Friday night Dixie Crossroads list? We will be able to stay Friday and Saturday night only and depart Sunday. We worked it into our schedule so we can at least make it for those two nights.

Also, can you please explain about the pj's and the Chinese auction. I don't know what a Chinese auction is.

Thanks,
Sharon

Jon & Sharon so glad you can come I will ad your names for Dixie CrossRoads don't for get to call Seasons in The Sun 1-877-687-7275 for reservations.
The Chinese auction you bring a present ( not much) per person playing, at the start of the game we all get a number when your number is called you can either take a unwrapped present or one someone has at the end the person with the number 1 gets to pick what they want.
Feel Free gang to explain it better than I.

It has become a tradition at christmas to wear pajamas to our Christmas Party( must be presentable) we always have a lot of fun hope you will too
