Daytona Beach Campground at 4601 Clyde Morris Blvd. in Port Orange, Fl. will be changing ownership on the first of the year. Prices were raised earlier this year at the campground and further price increases are expected after the new owner(s) take over. Guess it could have been worse, the campground could have been sold to condo developers. Of course this is probably something very possible in the future.

Not only that campground, but the Orange Isles CG on South Nova is now a KOA and the Town and County CG west of the speedway may also be a KOA, but I'm not certain about that. Both had the same owners. You're right, at least they are not condos.

Carefree RV Resorts officially took ownership of Daytona Beach Campground today. Would be interested in hearing others experiences with this corporation.
