Dianne had both her knees replaced March 4 and may get to go home tomorrow afternoon. She will be getting rehab for awhile. We are hoping to make the National in Ohio in June. We should know more in a couple of weeks.

That is great news Tom. Give her Renna and I's best wishes for a quick recovery. Sorry we're going to miss you at the Spring Rally.

Wow that is good news! I cannot imagine getting them both done at one time. Much braver than me - but then I might not get the second done if I ever had the nerve to do the first.
Tom, tell her we have all the best hopes for her complete, pain-free recovery. Hope she continues to improve.

Dianne, that is great news. Our friend had both done at once and I asked him if he had to learn how to walk on his hands
He did well, I hope you do also.

Dianne is home now and using a walker to get around. She is moving around very well. She got a lot of drugs to take and got a hand book on when to take . (she needs it) There is also three Dr.s she got to see and more rehab, so we going to be busy. Thanks for the kind words. She will be back on line in a day or so.

Recovery is rough!! Wouldn't be so bad IF I could take any pain meds but I am allergic to them all,so am depending on extra strength Tylenol and ice packs I am also still without appetite from anstestia,it takes several weeks for me to get appetite back,I certainly need to lose the weight but what a way to do it!! Doc I know if I went in for one I'd probably never get back in for the second, have come to understand its now not that unusual to have both at one time. A few months afterwards all are hoppy and wouldn't give a million for thier new knees-I'm certainly looking forward to that day! We are still planning on going to the National in June-look forward to seeing ya'll there!

Dianne
