Hey Y'All,

Well I left Dillard this morning and am in Twin Oaks RV Park in Elko,GA just south of Perry! I am glad I waited the extra day to leave, I saw a few rivers on the way down that might have been over the road on Monday !!!!

Hey Doc,

Thanks again to you & Miss Carol, I had a great time!! Also I took your route it was a very relaxing ride!!

I will keep my eyes on the board and if I am going to be in the area for your spring rally I will see you then! If not see you next Oct!

Thanks to everyone for the warm welcome and a great time. Hopefully we can meet up with the group again in the future.

Yesterday, Barb and I followed Joe's map and Collett's directions and we hit all the waterfalls and a few more we had not seen in years. We took the forest service road 1178 (Bull Pen) the entire length and had great time. We stopped at the iron bridge, had lunch in Cashiers, doubled back through Highlands for a little shoppping and took the road back to Franklin for dinner before getting back to the coach about 8pm. What a beautiful day it was.

Today it is raining once again. Heavy last night and light drizzle this morning. I think we are going to hit some of the antique shops in town and Franklin today. If weather improves tomorrow, I think the GA Mountain Fair in Hiawassee (sp?) may be in order. After that Gold Rush Days festival in Dahlonega starts on Saturday.

We are planning to pull out early on Sunday morning to head back to Jacksonville. Everyone have a great week and thanks once again for great time.

We stopped at the antique strip mall in Dillard. One of the stores had a lot of Depression glass, my favorite! I was very good and didn’t buy any, had a lot to do with hubby standing next to me.

Thanks, Doc and Ms. Carol for a great time and also thanks to Joe and Colette for showing us the waterfalls. We got home yesterday around 5 pm with fog and rain most of the way. I finished unloading the fiver this morning and got it on the back lot. When the weather clears wash it and get it ready for Myrtle Beach in a couple of weeks.

We looked at a couple fivers at the campground in Asheville. I was going to stop in Clanton on the way home but it was raining too hard.
