help! need cheap rv storage in SE florida

hi

we are trying to find reasonably priced storage for our 28ft fifth wheel and truck for 12 months. we fly out of miami international so were looking for storage in that area but it seems very expensive. anyone got advice on where we should be looking? do you know any campgrounds with good storage deals?

any advice would be greatly appreciated!!

I just noticed your post and that no one had responded. I'm not familiar with storage places in the SE part of the state or what your definition of reasonably priced might be. But I'll give you some observations. In general, real estate close to Miami is prime territory. You might be better off checking further north and west (outside the Dade and Broward Counties area) and taking ground transportation to the airport.

Another consideration is the potential for hurricanes. That area was unscathed this year but you never know what the next hurricane season might bring. For what you might save in parking your rig far away from high storage prices and high winds may even pay for a flight into Miami.

We live in Hollywood Florida and store our RV. You may want to try
Seminole Park Seminole Park for RV's. They have RV storage which is locked at night but open during the day behind their RV park . We have stored our fifth wheel there for over two years with absolutely no problems. The manager's name is Barbara and the price is reasonable. Good luck!!

I also store my RV at Seminole Park in Hollywood and recommend it highly. The price is right, and it is convenient to both Miami and Fort Lauderdale airports. There is also an well-stocked RV supply store and repair facility nearby, K&K RV Supply.
