Key West Motel

I Winter in South Daytona, Florida. I am thinking of taking the toad to Key West (RV will stay in Daytona) sometime in say Sept of this year. Looking for motel recommendations. Need nothing fancy but will want to be near the beach and have decent parking for my new toad. Will be staying say 3 days with my 18 yr .old. Any recommendations? 8-)

We have stayed at the Blue Marlin Motel in 1995. It was a good value for that area. It is located 1 block from the southern most point in the US. It is also a short distance to the beach. When we were there we walked every where and left the van at the motel. Here is there website.

I have stayed in Key West many times and one of the best deals is the Holiday Inn. It is located directly at the split as you come in to Key West. It is not on the beach but does have a great pool and it is a short ride to the beach. If you go down there make sure to eat at New York Pasta, it is on Duval Square. Without a doubt the best meal in Key West. So good they don't advertise or list the phone number. Say hello to Michael and enjoy. You won't be disappointed.

This may be too late for your trip, but by all means, stop by BOs Fish Wagon for a grouper sandwich. Yummy!!!
