We have reservations at Mayberry in Mount Airy before heading west on I 40 to the National rally. If anyone is in the area stop by.

I hope that all the folks coming to the 10th Anniversary can share in your adventure to the Grand Canyon. We went in 2005 and we stayed at the Grand Canyon KOA on Route 64. I do want a specific T-Shirt if you can find your way to looking for it for me. The one I have is starting to show its age and I'd like to replace it.

Thought we were going to be able to make it, but the dealership has kept me and the truck on the road for most of this week. Turned my phone off today.  Cannot deal with another day of the parking lots they call Atlanta Interstates.
Hope you guys have a great time.
The fires near the canyon - are they out or what? I saw this AM that there is a huge fire burning about 60 miles from Las Vegas.
Be safe and have fun - we want to see pics of the railroad

Sorry Doc that you can't make it. The weather has been perfect. We are going to stay another day. We not heard anything about the fires. How do you have a fire in the desert ? Never been there, but did not think sand would burn.

If you have the opportunity to purchase a T-shirt for DriVer I am sure he will wear it at all times.

Tom, I'm going to take a picture of the shirt and send you some descriptions. Hope they still have that design but if not there are a number of nice ones there. I liked the heavy weight feel to them PLUS you can only get a Grand Canyon shirt from the Grand Canyon. It just wouldn't be right to get it anywhere else.
