Our rving family of four may see a move in the future, ie. job related. May be in Greenville area. Husband is programmer, I am #1 a mom, teach part time and work w/ the parks in the summer hosting. We are going in April/March? to see the area. We live in a rural town now and own a farm we are finishing a renovation on. We are independent folks , family comes first church and helping others comes 2nd. What would be a nice town, not subdivision nor keep up w/ the Jones type community to visit when we go down. We would like to visit some active churches as well Baptist but not penticostal or too rigid...that's just not our style. Thanks all.

Hi Chinchilla1, Just got to see your question about Greenville. Check out Taylor SC. Right next to G-ville, and a little farther NW is Anderson, on I-85 at Ga line. Great town, small but every thing you would ever want.

The Golden Corner (far NW corner of the state) has some great parks for camping, mostly in spring and fall, middleto late summer gets unbearably hot. The schools suck in my opinion (former resident of Oconee County, SC and I ended up homeschooling my kids... personal choice, not for everyone!). SC has LOTS of churches, all kinds. Good Luck.
