NC Safety inspection, 40' Newmar DSDP?

I'm hoping there are some NC licensed RV's that can help me. I just purchased and licensed my MH and have been told I need to have a safety inspection done.

I live in Durham and of the places that appear able to do it locally there is only one that looks as though I could get the MH in and out of it.

Do you get inspections done? Suggestions of where? We are very "green" when it comes to RVing.

Any/all help is appreciated.

Hi,and Welcome. For NC inspection most of the RV sales places have this.I think you have 2 in your area,Terry lonabonte,and Harleys (spelling ) Also some of the NAPA Oil change places have them. Mabey some one in your area will get in with a better ans.

We have our inspections done by John at J&A Tire and Brake in Raleigh, 848-0003. They're near the junction of Creedmoor and Norwood roads in Raleigh. Give him a call, he may be able to inspect your coach and I believe he's a little closer to you than Hawley's.

I got the card form the DMV last week and went on line and got the new sticker. So they are not requiring inspections for 5 th wheels yet
