New Kitchen Table Ideas?

We are brand new to this and need to make or purchase a Kitchen table for our rig. Any ideas?

Go shopping at your local furniture store, take your tape measure.

Or do what we did...make your own. We used 1x4's in red oak and cut it to fit the correct measurement.

Would have to know much more about what style table, but Thor Challenger KTs come with a free standing table. If you like those you could either buy one new from Thor or look for a used one.

My wife and I recently purchased our first TT and decided to rip out the dinette and replace it with a couple of reclining chairs. Since our trailer is basically set up for two, we plan to either use a small folding table or TV trays or eat outside at a picnic table. Realistically, I expect we will be at a local restaurant. We figure if we eat in the RV as little as we eat at home, a big dinette or permanent table and chairs is a waste of space - gotta' make good use of it when there is only 250sf give or take to work with. We will see how that works out...
