PLEASE READ PRAISE REPORT at the END!
Dear Boomer Family:
I almost didn't post because I am really believing that all will be well. Then I started thinking about what the Bible says about whenever 2 or more agree in prayer, so here I am.
I had my 6-month mammo yesterday, and they found a mass on the good side. They followed the mammo with a sonagram to confirm. There is definitely something there, but the Radiologist really believes it is a cyst vs. a tumor and that's what I'm believing too. They will do a needle aspiration tomorrow morning at 8:00 to withdraw whatever fluid is present. That should be the determining factor.
I would appreciate your prayers for everything to be resolved tomorrow at this visit with no after effects or problems.
How blessed we all are to be in a Family of prayer warriors. We know that prayer does move mountains.
Thank you so much.
Love,
CherI

PRAISE REPORT ! ! !
This morning I had the aspiration procedure done, and seven (yes SEVEN!) mammograms later, the Radiologist said he is "99% sure that the mass is a cyst and not a tumor". Even in the "world" those are pretty good odds. I will have to wait a week for the pathology results, but I feel as confident as the Radiologist that all is well.
Thank you so much for your thoughts, prayers, phone calls, visits and emails. You have all been such an encouragement to me and I love all of you. I expect the pathology report to be PERFECT and we can close this chapter, right?

Cheri,
Like you I am sure it is just a cyst, no big deal.
What does Dr. Ron say ????
Now as far as you bragging about "mountains", I think you better stay with, say a mole hill or perhaps a small mole hill !!!!!
Seriously, first you know that laughter is great medicine and I hope the above at least got a small smile on your face. Secondly, you know that all our prayers and thoughts will be with you. You have certainly PROVEN the power of prayer, and there is no doubt in my mind that you will affirm that proof tomorrow.
Keep us informed.

Cheri,
I'm sure the prayers will start flying. I'm sure that the radiologist in Brandon is responsible for my being here to pray for you because he/she found the signs of a problem SO early. I believe in radiologists and if yours thinks it is a cyst, chances are good that's what it is. Just relax and keep the good images flowing.
Larry and I will be praying for you.

Seriously, first you know that laughter is great medicine and I hope the above at least got a small smile on your face. Proverbs says, "Merriment doeth the heart good like a medicine." You hit the nail right on the head with your humor and you know I love it and yes, I am smiling big time!

You have certainly PROVEN the power of prayer, and there is no doubt in my mind that you will affirm that proof tomorrow. Our Boomer Family has been under attack with health challenges quite a bit recently, but we know the Great Physician, Jesus, has the power to heal and that's what we pray for. You bet I know all about the power of prayer and am so thankful for all who pray.
Now get busy for that July Rally and have a great time. We'll probably still be unpacking boxes by then, but you never know.
Take care, God bless and thanks so much for your thoughts and prayers. No wonder we love all of you!
Love,

Cheri, we too are remembering you this morning; trusting that God will hear and make it so. Let us know the good news when you get it. Wish we could get together soon. Hopefully before too long we will. Bye for now.
