Ocracoke, NC NPS

I am planning to head out to Ocracoke Island, NC to the NPS park. The website lists driveway length at 31ft. My TT is 31 feet but I have alot behind the tires I can back up further, but I am sure not enough to park my truck. Will they give me a hard time if two of my truck tires are on the grass? Anyone have any photos of the sites?

How far over the dunes to the beach? I know at Cape Point and Oregon Inlet NPS campgrounds it is a pretty good hike to the beach.

Plan to take the Swan Quarter ferry to relax and not have to drive the extra 80 miles each way.
