Cheri and others,
They seem to be very flexible about check in times, compared to some other places we have met previously.

Dave has a Wednesday afternoon meeting and asked this question, too, but in an email. They replied that he could come in as early as the office opened, which I think was 9:30. He has a special need and they were very accomodating. I would think the rest of us should come in at noon or later, after the departing campers have left.

Good News, we picked up our motorhome today.

Bad news, we have a diesel fueled hot water and furnance system called a Hurricane. It has a brght readout display which NOW says, "Short from Generator". ???

If you guessed it doesn't work you are correct.
However, it was working when we took it in to the dealer for it's exented service stay.

So................????

Lou,

You didn't say where the message was displayed?

Well, you guessed it. The hurricane attracting Prescotts should not wagon master during official hurricane season. However, we will see many of you by Wednesday and Thursday and bail later in the week as necessary, when we know more about where the "W" storm is headed. No idea about refunds if we decide to leave.

Alright, just because Jeanne chased us out of Clermont last year, doesn't mean it'll happen again. It's still a TD at this writing and slow moving (projected west of Key West by Friday night). We're ready to rally!

The Bay Bayou people have been so great to work with. Here is there reply regarding the weather:

"Lets pray that there will not be a hurricane but if there is we will refund any money due back."

Like I said, see y'all as early as Wednesday (8) and as late as Friday (2). Dave's right on.

Jo Ann and I are planning on bringing our bicycles to this rally. According to a Hillsborough County trail map, the southern terminus of the Upper Tampa Bay Trail is near Memorial Highway, not far from Bay Bayou. This is an 8 mile long (16 mile round-trip) trail that heads NE and then N through NW Hillsborough County. We haven't ridden this trail before but plan to sometime during our stay. Anybody else interested?

Can't believe this rally is history already! Many thanks to Mary and Larry for a great time. The threat of Wilma kept a few folks away but bad weather held off giving us a great weekend. It would have been even better if the lotto pool had produced results, but oh well, maybe next time!

We hope everyone made it home ok and that Wilma weakens as it approaches the west coast.

Mary & Larry thank you for a wonderful rally even if Wilma did try to put a damper on it. Audi is still talking of the Kayaking trip Mary and her went on. Thanks again for a enjoyable weekend.

Glad those who came enjoyed the low-key, storm-watching rally. Bay Bayou is a good place. We can go again sometime from April to October if we want. It was great to see all of you again - too bad more people couldn't make it.

Good luck with Wilma, all. Have had trouble getting on through our satellite tonight. Caught up on laundry, etc. in anticipation of losing power.

We arrived home safely yesterday afternoon -- did laundry, got groceries and decided not to board up the house. Had a great time with our Boomer family -- it was just what we needed!! Thanks Mary and Larry for everything.

Another great rally with the Boomers. In spite of Wilma watching, I think all had a very relaxing time. Thanks to all who attended and we hope you all made it home without incident. Thanks to Jim and MJ for the restaurant pick, great seafood. Hope Tom and Pat find all well when they get home, looked like the Naples area had quite a bit of damage again. See you all in November.
