Jo Ann and I will likely spend a couple of nights at Mayberry Campground in Mt. Airy, NC on our way to the iRV2 National Rally in Ohio. We will likely be there at least two nights starting on June 11.

The distance from Mt. Airy to Dundee, OH is about 367 miles. At this point I don't know if we'll be doing that in one long day or break it up into two easy days. Whichever we do, we'll be at Mayberry Campground the nights of the 11th and 12th. I need at least part of one of those days to make a fudge run to Meadows of Dan in VA.

Hopefully some Appalachian campers that are going to the National may be able to join us.

Hi Dave and Jo Ann, Good to hear from you guys. Man you missed a great get-together at Mayberry this fall! We would like to see you guys again, but ww'll be in S Dakota then. If fact right now, we are not sure we will even be at Mayberry in April. We have a friend in N Dakota we are wanting to stop and see and also swing through Elkhart and get the headlights adjusted on the MH.
Wish we were going to the National with you - and would be if we had not already commited to the folks in Custer.
Have fun for us

Dave, We will meet you in Mount Airy, as it is a good stop for us on the way to Ohio.

We made our reservations for the nights of June 11 & 12. This will give us time to make a fudge run to Meadows of Dan on Friday after getting a pork chop sandwich at Snappy Lunch. At this point, we plan on spending Saturday night on the road somewhere up closer to the National rally.

Looking forward to seeing y'all there. We made reservations for June 10,11 and 12 so Tom can visit some relatives in the area. A pork chop sandwich and some of Nance's fudge sure sounds good!

Less than a month to the pre-rally in Mayberry! Anyone else dropping by on their way to Ohio?

We can't leave until the middle of the day on Saturday. We are planning to drive to Beckley WV and stop over night at Tamarack. That will put us about 4 hours away from the rally.
We are looking foward to seeing everyone.

We are leaving tonight, spending the night in Greensboro (probably at Camping World), short drive Friday to Tweetsie Railroad (we scored free Day out with Thomas tickets Saturday and they allow overnight parking ) then making the long trek Saturday afternoon/evening, stopping at either Tamarack or another Rest Area in WV along the way.

See you there!

Awwww man !! (quoting my grand-daughter) We really wanted to see the Amish area and the horses these folks have. Instead, we are here, in the cold and rain! brrrr! I guess it is just the global warming causing this winter in SD to never end.
You guys have a great time and think about us.
