Diesel was $3.639 this morning at the Citgo on the east side of Inverness. I think that's a new high for this neck of the woods. Thankfully, we don't need any just yet and maybe this latest 'spike' will go away sometime soon.

They report that some stations are discontinuing credit card sales due to the card companies' fees exceeding the stations' profit margin. Us RVers may eventually have to haul a boatload of cash with us just to keep going .

Flying 'J' at Seffner has diesel at $3.339 per gallon. Even gas was at $3.279 and is now down to $2.979. Still it's gouging. I can go into Tampa and get gas for 2.839 a gallon. TA is the same price. Next along with carrying an Rv full of cash, will be a trailer to carry the fuel in when we find a cheap place. Only the oil compaines are getting rich on this one and lie to the public.
