The CG owner, Benny Bunker, is going to have a Pig Pickin' on November 6, 2009 and will be providing the meal and a beverage for everyone who is camping at his Mayberry CG in Mt Airy, NC that evening. He said he'd do the pig on his cooker and is getting some local talent to do Bluegrass and Gospel. It'll be a great evening.

Sylvia and I are signing up for it, I hope there's a few more iRV2'rs here for that weekend too. I picked up one of his fliers for the event and when I get home from this weekend I'll scan it and post it here.

To sign up call Lynn at the Mayberry Campground and she'll put you down for it. If my hunch is right he'll fill the campground's 95 sites with this one.

That's great.

There will be several of us iRV2'rs there. It'll be great to see them again.

DARN, DARN, DARN.

We made reservations at Peaks of Otter (first visit ever) for the same time frame as the Mt Airy fall campout. I really wanted to talk to Richard about Hitchhikers and Di and Tom about the rigs they are looking at.

Have fun maybe I will see you guys in the spring. We have already signed up for the Williams AZ rally.

Lol This was posted in April, you must not have been on here much the past few months! We have decided not to go as Tom was just up there to help celebrate an aunts 100th birthday. We are going to Myrtle Beach instead to see the grand kids, which makes grandma happy!

Opps!
I have not been on much. For retired folks I can't believe how busy we are. But now that I am researching for a possible new rig I will be on a lot more often. I am kind of picky otherwise know as obsessive according to my husband. I must have been an engineer in another life. I like LOTS OF DATA, charts, graphs, specs, etc.

Have fun in Myrtle Beach, we were there a couple of years ago and of course the front landing gear broke and we had to upgrade the landing gear before we could get home. It is not camping if nothing goes wrong.
