Hey, Boomers:

For all of you in an around Katrina's path we are praying for you this morning.

Jan and Bill, have you spoken with your daughter and family in Ft. Lauderdale? Please know that they are in our thoughts and prayers as are everyone affected by this storm.

Cheri -- Thanks for your prayers and concern -- our daughter and family stayed put in their home and other than no power everything is fine. She said the baby slept through it all and didn't even know anything was happening. Our son-in-law said it was worse than he expected - the wind really howled. They haven't ventured out of their neighborhood but they said it looks like there are lots of trees down.
Our prayers for all of those who were affected or will be.

Bill & Jan we were thinking and wondering about your family. Glad everything is okay even if they do not have any power.
We are praying for all those effected and the ones that are going to be in the continued path.

Hey folks,
How about a lot of prayers for all those folks on the gulf coast of LA, MS, AL, and FL panhandle.

Absolutely! It's been such a sad day watching all those folks who were unable to evacuate New Orleans and are having to cram into the Super Dome. The thought of the food and water issue, not to mention the sanitation issue is unimagineable.

Ron's brother and family are on a cruise and were supposed to return to their home in Mobile tomorrow. The ship has been diverted to Tampa.

We just ask the Lord to go before this storm and show mercy on all of those who will be impacted by Katrina. They refer to it as one of "Biblical proportions" which manifests visions of the Flood in Noah's time. Frightening.

God bless all of these folks.
