Hi,hope you Florida Boomers can help us! We are planning a trip down to Fl. in the near future,no real schedule. We have heard some good things about Rock Crusher Canyon and was wondering if we would be able to get in a few days on short notice,or does it stay full this time of year? Thanks for your help!

You should be able to get in on short notice without any problems as long as there are no special events going on .

We were at Rock Crusher from 1/14-17. Nice CG
and lots to do. It was cold that weekend though!
No campfires allowed.
We did the manatee swim with Sunshine River Tours in Homassasa and it was great. About 100 manatees there.
We will go back - when it is warmer though!
Pets are allowed also.

Hi, Jody:

Just noticed the signature on your post. Do you live in the PLANTATION subdivision? We are in The Villages so we're not too far from you, if that's where you live.

Looking forward to meeting you one of these days and hope you'll give the Florida Boomers a try. Great group of the finest folks you'll ever meet.

Cheri

Cookestwo,

We live in Plantation, which is in So. Fla (just west of Ft. Lauderdale)

Aren't the villages near US 27? East of Ocala?

So, if you are where I think YOU are..........then you are near Ocklawaha
which is where my mother lives!

We'll all meet up some day, I am sure of it.

Hi Jody and Jeff,
My daughter and son in law live in Plantation off Peters Rd. Where are you guys? We love to visit there and go often. Weve been part of the Boomers for a couple years now and would also like to meet you. Come see us when you get a chance.

Xeroid,
We camp sometimes at Markham Park or CB Smith park, of the Indian Reservation off aligator alley. Next time you are near there & if you're brining the Winne, possibly we could meet up on a weekend. We still work fulltime, so we only get to camp out on weekends!
