If y'all really want to see what the members of the Dixie Region are all about, why don't you come and camp with us at the Appalachian Campers' Summer Rally at the Meadows of Dan Campground in Virginia, August 4 through 7. It's located near the junction of the Blue Ridge Parkway milepost 177.7 & US Highway 58.

We'd be happy to have representatives from the "RVing" series join us and see what we do. We are just a minuscule part of the RV industry but we have a great time with what we do and enjoy. Come by and join us.

Also, I see you've posted this thread using the username "tvproducer1"; last week Beth Le Manach posted another thread using a similar username "TVProducer" saying "RVing" is currently in production on a new series for the Do-It-Yourself Network (DIY) and is looking for Southern California families to star in the episodes.

Are you the same person at "RVing" who posted last week as "TVProducer" or is this a separate initiative from the post made last week?

Irregardless, we'd still love to have you or a representative of "RVing" join us on our Summer Rally, we plan on having a great time.

Beth is another producer on RVing. Last week we were casting for families in Southern California. We've completed casting for that episode and are scheduled to shoot it next week. Our next episode will be in the Southern area of North Carolina. So we are looking for families in East Tennessee, South Carolina, Northern Georgia and of course North Carolina.

Thank you so much for inviting us to your rally. We definitely want to attend one during the show. The Rally you mentioned is too close to our California shoot days or I would take you up on the invitation for sure! If only it was a week later. If you have any other trips(including individual trips) scheduled during the week of 8/14 let me know, especially if you've planned to go to the Cherokee Blue Grass Festival.

My wife and I camp with these people here with iRV2.com, but we can't make the Summer Rally with these folks. We are also members os a camping group that is closer to our home. They are affiliated with The Family Campers and RVers "FCRV". Our camping club is called The Rolling Pioneers and we will be going to Jordan Lake which is just West of Raleigh NC, (http://www.ils.unc.edu/parkproject/visit/jord/home.html)
the weekend of 8-12 to 8-14. 2 of our members are working at Jordan Lake this Summer. This is a very informal get together just to go to new places and enjoy the company of other camping famlies. We would love for you to come and visit with us there. The invitation is open to the Aplichan Campers also. We will be in the Poplar Point area on loop C. We have a hospitality get together on Friday night with light refreshments and a potluck supper on Saturday night.
