Both August and October are in the Tampa area so I guess we should think about either the east coast area, or Gainesville/Ocala areas.

Derek:

Gainesville would be great for Ralphie and Weezie. Maybe when they get back from their cruise at the end of the week, they'll have some ideas.

Good idea Princess.
I just checked in Archer, appears to have a mobile home park that might have a few RV spots!!!
Let's wait and see what the Hamilton's might have in mind.

Isn't there a new or newly re-opened one up near Ocala? I will try to look into it some.

Weren't we going to have a rally last year at Grand Lake RV Resort between Gainesville and Ocala? I think it was going to be in November and it got cancelled in favor of going to Hunting Island. We have never been to Grand Lake but it is highly rated in the directory.

Now there is an option, also I heard here on iRV2 that Silver River State Park just outside Ocala was nice.

When are those "cruisers" returning to Gainesville...finding the proper campground ought to be Ralphie's job...with all this chemo and radiation he has really been slacking on his job here at iRV2. Here is the deal, Ralphie you decide on the Campground and tell me the name and I will do the rest, with a little help from my friends of course !!!!!

Everybody OK with that suggestion???????????

Boy, this enthusiasm kind of sounds like "Lou's Ice Cream Social" doesn't it, Gang?

They'll be on dry land on Friday. Good idea to make Ralphie work a little bit. He'll love it.

Night night z z z z z

Oh, bother. You all are trying to entice us to come back to Florida during the height of hurricane season with your talk of camping near Ocala (high on my list of places the bus house hasn't been yet) and ice cream socials (my little ice cream maker is right here with us, ready to go). We miss you all a lot - the Florida Boomer socializing is so much fun! We have to get our fix on irv2 for a while, though.
