Thanks Al , for having a pork chop sandwich for us. We will be there June 11 on our way the the National IRV2 raly. Dianne is doing very well, but needs another month of rehab. She is getting around with a cane, as I have to watchout. She swings a mean cane.

We really wanted to make this rally, but a new granddaughter in northern Michigan took precedence. That was a car trip for us as temps were still cold up that way and campgrounds won't be open for a couple more weeks.
Tom and Dianne, we'll see you at Mayberry in June on the way to the national rally.

Hey Tom and Diane, we sure are missing you guys here at Mayberry. Weather is great and the food is as well. Sun is shining and my bald head is sunburned and will probably peel. We hope you guys are having as much fun as we are.
Wish we were making the National in Ohio with ya'll.
Take care of those new knees and don't wear them out too fast.
Rumor has it there will be a pig picking and blue grass get together here in November. We will try to make it then, hope you can too.

Glad to hear you all are having fun, wish we could have made it.No fun here yet Doc,maybe in a month or two!! I still can't drive,Tom takes me to physical therapy 3 times a week, then there is exercises to do at home.I have "graduated" from the walker to a cane. Its amazing with all this togetherness we are still speaking,Tom has been a good nurse though. Hey,what ever happened to "your" rally at Huntington Beach or in Ga.? We are still waiting on that!
Dianne

We arrived back home in PA about 6:30 safe and sound.
We hated to leave a day early but all wanted to get back home after being gone for almost 6 months.
We had a nice time meeting new and old friends. I want to thank Richard and Sylvia for their efforts in making certain we all had a great time. The "widget" breakfast really hit the spot just before we hit the road this morning.
Thanks again all and hope to be back at Mayberry CG in the Fall.
-Tom, Sandy & Chris

Glad you made it home with no problems Tom, we enjoyed your company here and hope to see you at the next one.
After the widgets we all took a tour of the 'old house' compliments of the CG owner Bennie. Then a bunch of us loaded up and went to town and gorged ourselves on a Snappy Lunch Famous Pork Chop Sandwich. Wow, what a sandwich.... can't believe they only get $4 for them.
The afternoon was rather laid back, some took naps in their rigs while others chit chatted in small groups outside their rigs. Then we had our pot luck dinner, wow... another big meal. Campfire was started up immediately after the pot-luck and we all sat around telling tall tales and seeing who could out lie the other. Great evening.
This morning a few are stirring about and we have the 40 cup coffee pot going in the pavilion. Should be another great day for those staying over until Monday.
It's no rumor about the pig roast that Doc mentioned, the CG owner is going to have a Pig Pickin' on November 6, 2009 and will provide meal and beverage for everyone who is camping at his Mayberry CG that evening. He said he'd do the pig on his cooker and is getting some local talent to do Bluegrass and Gospel. It'll be a great evening.
Sylvia and I are signing up for it, hope there's a few more iRV2'rs here that weekend too. I picked up one of his fliers for the event and when I get home I'll scan it and post it in the other thread I started for chit chatting about that event.

It was great folks!! Ms Carol was talking about how eveyone there seemed to have had a wonderful time. I know we did. We always have a good time at these get-togethers. The midgets (or was that widgets ) were the answer to a retired police officer's needs. Thanks again for the new technique Sylvia..
Made it home this evening with no trouble at all. While it is a few miles longer, the I-485 bypass from 77 south toward Spartanburg and 85 is the way to go. Very little traffic and the road is pretty good even if is concrete.

We made it home safe and sound about 1:30, lots of rain on the way but had no problems. We had a great time at the rally and really enjoyed meeting the new members and seeing the old regulars again. Looking forward to seeing you all again.
One of you left a pair of glasses in the pavilion, I have them and will mail them if you let me know who they belong to. I took a picture of them, look below.

We arrived safely at Myrtle Beach State Park yesterday afternoon. We plan to spend a few days here before heading home. Genie and I both had a great time at the rally and really did enjoy the hospitality and meeting everyone. Thanks for everything, and we look forward to seeing you again soon.

Hi All,
We had a great time with all of the new ones, and with other IRV2's we have met over the last 4 years.
We hope that all of the new ones will come back to another Rally, you all are the best!!!!

Renna and I had a great time spending the weekend with our IRV2 family as always. Thanks Richard and Sylvia for hosting a great rally. Next time we have a rally maybe it should be in a Lowes parking lot so Smokey Joe and I don't have to travel so far for parts. It was great meeting all the new folks also. We hope to see you again at future rallys.
