I asked this question in the "need campground info" section but didn't get any responses. Was hoping you guys could help. If administrator needs to remove this from this section I'll understand.
Looking to go to this area at the end of March and would appreciate any info on a few places we are considering. Bay Bayou RV Resort, St Petersburg KOA, Horseshoe Cove RV Resort and Dunedin RV Resort.

If I were you my first choice would be Fort Desoto which is a county park.
You have Bobeasy access to the interstate network.
You have beach, You have boating, you have a campground that will give you the "feel" of the Florida Keys.
You can check it out at their website:

If you can get reservations you won't be sorry.

Second choice would be Bay Bayou.
