We just got home from the Spring Rally and had a great time. When and where will we have the next one and who wants to be its wagonmaster?
Should we try to have one sometime in June or late May?

Y'all have a great time at Custer, we visited there in '03 and really enjoyed it.
They have a ranger presentation that presents the story of the battle from both the Indian and the white perspective. Very interesting.

30 amps is usually sufficient for any of us at Timberlake, rarely need to run the AC there. Cool mountain air all summer.
How about Racoon Holler on the Blue Ridge Parkway, we had a couple rallies there a few years ago? Anyone interested in going back again?
And Bob, they have 50 amps available for those who need it.

My parents vacation home is only about 4 miles from Racoon Holler. Nice area and with the new river there is good tubing/canoe and fishing.
Another option would be Deer Creek RV Park and Golf Resort just south of Galax, VA

Our new son-in-law's Mom lives just up the road from the turnoff to Racoon Holler. One in that area would give us a chance to get to know them more as well as seeing everyone again.

I looked at the Deer Creek RV Park's website, nice looking place and great amenities. Considering that we're in the Southeast Region which includes North Carolina, South Carolina, Florida, Georgia, Alabama, & Tennessee, we probably ought to leave Virginia to the Mid-Atlantic Region.
If there's enough interest in Raccoon Holler for the first weekend in June I'll try to recruit a wagonmaster and get something rolling.
What say you, who would come?

We would be interested in the 1st week of June one, anywhere.
And would be glad to help anyone in anyway needed to pre-pair.
Count us in.

That's great Colette, that makes two of us.
If we can get a few more interested maybe we'll get us a rally scheduled. Stay tuned here and we'll see what shakes out.
